Job Description :
You will act as the key Systems Engineer, working closely with sales representatives to handle large Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and key Government customers in North India. The primary mission of the Systems Engineer is to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Sales :
- Solution Pitches : Play an integral role in new business solution pitches, fostering long-term relationships to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions, delivering meaningful results for all parties involved.
- Sales Qualification : Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
- RFP Compliance : Respond to RFP compliances, manage cross-references, and handle pre-bid meetings.
- Sales Calls : Be the main technical resource during sales calls, educating the customer on various aspects ranging from product features, specifications, functionality, to integration.
- Technical Education : Answer customer queries and help them understand Fortinet's product capabilities.
Post-Sales :
Technical Support : Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, collaborating closely with the technical support escalation team and engineering to resolve customer issues.Escalation Management : Understand and follow escalation processes to ensure customer satisfaction.Training : Provide sustainable training to channel partners on Fortinet solutions and competitive differentiation.Collaboration and Strategy :
Channel Management : Work in collaboration with Channel and Sales management to establish channel partners and qualify their ability to sell Fortinet solutions.Technical Expertise : Provide complex design and systems engineering configurations.Cybersecurity Knowledge : Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and industry trends.Customer Documentation : Create and manage documentation for Proof of Concepts (POC).Technical Presentations and Content :
Presentation Support : Participate in the development and support of presentations for customers and partners.Value Proposition : Clearly articulate the technical aspects of Fortinet's value proposition to customers and partners.Content Creation : Contribute to the creation of case studies, white papers, and media articles for customers and / or partners.Team Collaboration :
Team Environment : Foster a collaborative, team-based environment by sharing best practices and building lasting relationships.Conflict Resolution : Effectively negotiate and pursue conflict resolution where required.Consultative Support : Lead strategic (organizational) opportunities and proactively provide consultative support to customers and internal teams.We Are Looking For :

10+ years of experience in technical / pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.Stupendous presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.5-7 years of experience in Network Security, SDWAN, Cloud Security, Virtualization, NFV, etc.Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, including Fortinet's product portfolio.Preferably working in OEM.Proven track record of fostering long-term relationships and achieving enterprise-wide deployments.Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams and customers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Join Us :
