VAT And Year-end Accounts Specialist

We are seeking a VAT and Year-end Accounts Specialist to manage the financial needs of our UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UK VAT compliance and year-end accounts preparation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of UK accounting standards and software.

Key Responsibilities

• VAT Compliance : Prepare and submit accurate and timely VAT returns in compliance with UK VAT laws . This includes handling related queries, reconciliations, and adjustments, as well as advising clients on VAT treatment for various transactions.
• Year-End Accounts Preparation : Prepare statutory year-end accounts in line with UK accounting standards (FRS 102, FRS 105) . You'll reconcile accounts, prepare working papers, and finalize accounts for submission to Companies House and HMRC .
• Client Communication : Collaborate closely with UK-based clients to understand their accounting needs, provide regular updates, and address any queries.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement best practices to streamline VAT and accounts preparation. Stay updated on changes in UK tax and accounting regulations .
