Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an AWS Consultant – Cloud Optimization Specialist located in Madurai. The AWS Consultant will be responsible for optimizing cloud infrastructure, integrating various software components, developing solutions, and providing consulting services. Day-to-day tasks include assessing and improving cloud performance, implementing best practices in infrastructure management, and ensuring seamless cloud integration and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing AWS infrastructure and recommend optimizations for performance, security, and cost.
• Implement infrastructure improvements using IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Optimize EC2, ECS / EKS, RDS, and Lambda configurations for scalability and reliability.
• Review IAM policies, security groups, and networking for compliance and security best practices.
• Set up or enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and related tools.
• Provide recommendations for right-sizing, reserved instance strategies, and cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement CI / CD and deployment improvements.
• Deliver a comprehensive audit report with measurable outcomes and recommendations.
