Engineer ME-Toolroom

Title : Engineer (ME - Toolroom)

Experience level : 1 to 3 years

Core Responsibilities :

Execute Proto engine Assembly, Testing, Painting and Packing Process .

Establish Facility / Process for new or modified engines .

Conduct Proto trails and execute Engine proto assembly as per plan.

Prepare and update process documents / work instruction, tool lists .

Establish new fastening tools and assembly fixtures .

Conduct time, motion, and work study .

Execute Process change management for continual improvement through Productivity, Quality, Cost, and Safety.

Update programs for new Electrical fastening tools and Testing cycles in respective software.

Execute Process improvement and Quality improvement by implementation of different levels of Poka-Yoke , Low cost automations , and work standardization .

Essential Skills & Knowledge

Must have Knowledge of following

Assembly, Testing, Painting and Packing process, preferably in the Engine industry.

Tightening techniques and fastening tools.

Motion study, capacity planning & Cycle time calculation.

Process and costing.

Technical Drawing & Standards :

Component and assembly drawing.

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Drawing reading.

Engine terminology and their measurement methods.

In Quality & Management Systems :

Knowledge of systems like ISO / TS, Kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices.

Software & Equipment :

Testing software and drafting (AutoCAD) software.

Material handling systems and equipment.

Soft Skills :

Proactive, innovative, team player
