IT Manager - Operations (Urgent)

Job descriptionDevelop and implement Information Security Policies & Procedures in line with regulatory authorities and industry best practices. Manage and mitigate IT audit findings, working to improve the organization's information security posture. Formulate security assessment plans, rules of engagement, and detailed reports for vulnerability assessments. Conduct periodic audits to assess technology risks and compliance issues, reporting findings to senior management. Validate IT audit reports and formulate mitigation plans to enhance overall security. Keep senior management informed on security matters that may affect business operations and facilitate security reviews or investigations as needed. Consult on the design and architecture of the IT network, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices. Lead the development and implementation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Provide expert guidance on security matters in periodic security meetings, representing the organization and its subordinate units. Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Proven experience in a senior IT role, with a strong background in managing IT operations and security. Expertise in network and system administration, including managing and configuring operating systems and applications in a data center environment. In-depth knowledge of information security principles, risk assessment, and compliance standards. Experience in vulnerability assessment (VA) and formulating mitigation strategies. Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and monitor SLAs effectively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and mitigate complex audit findings. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief senior management on complex technical and security matters. Experience in leading the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans

Key Responsibilities :
IT Operations & Management :
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including network administration, system maintenance, and application management.
- Monitor and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with third-party vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Lead the installation and configuration of network devices and software in the data center and across the network.
- Ensure high availability of IT resources and minimize downtime through proactive management and swift issue resolution.
