Senior Linux Software Maintenance Specialist

Job descriptionProficient in Linux, Bash Scripting, C, and Python programming languages. Familiarity with build system tools like Autotools, Meson, Ninja, CMake, Make, Pkg-Config, SCons, etc. Strong understanding of CVS and Git version control systems. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience with Slackware Linux is highly valued. Knowledge of IPv6 facilities is mandatory for remote logins and work.
Linux Software Repository Maintainer
We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain and manage our Linux software repository.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for :
- Managing software dependencies and ensuring the integrity of our repository.
- Compiling and creating software from source code, utilizing tools like GCC and its flags.
- Maintaining changelogs and documentation, providing bug fixes and debugging as needed.
- Collaborating with upstream developers for issue resolution.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting services.
