Manager Home Décor Brand.
Were looking for a strategic and commercially driven Category Manager to lead product development, merchandising, and category growth for a fast-scaling home décor brand.
You will own category planning, product lifecycle, pricing, and go-to-market execution across D2C, marketplace, and offline channels.
Key Strategy & Assortment :
- Define category strategy based on consumer insights and trends.
- Build a competitive, profitable product assortment and drive new SKU development.
- Ensure alignment with brand identity and demand patterns.
Product Lifecycle Management :
Manage end-to-end product lifecycle : concept, sampling, pricing, launch, and phase-out.Maintain portfolio health and ensure margin and performance targets are met.Business Performance & P&L :
Track revenue, margins, sell-through, and inventory.Optimize product mix, pricing, replenishment, and promotions using data insights.Work with demand planning to maintain accurate forecasts and inventory levels.Marketing & GTM Collaboration :
Partner with marketing on launch plans, campaigns, and category storylines.Ensure product positioning and messaging support category goals.Support merchandising, influencer campaigns, and seasonal Coordination :Work closely with supply chain, packaging, operations, and finance for smooth execution.Resolve operational issues and ensure on-time product launches.Maintain clear communication across teams to drive category 3 - 6 years in category management, merchandising, or related roles.Experience in home décor, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred.Strong analytical and commercial skills; proficiency in Excel and dashboards.Excellent project management and communication abilities.MBA or equivalent in Marketing / Business (preferred).(ref : iimjobs.com)
