About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketplace Director to lead and manage our online marketplace business across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and other global platforms . The ideal candidate will have full ownership of marketplace strategy, operations, performance, and team leadership — ensuring consistent growth in sales, profitability, and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Ownership & Leadership
- Take full ownership of all marketplace operations (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.) across multiple regions.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
- Lead, train, hiring, and mentor a team, catalog specialists, and analysts.
- Establish KPIs, performance tracking systems, and reporting processes.
Account Management & Operations
Oversee all seller accounts — ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and performance metrics.Manage listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and catalog health.Ensure all product content, SEO, and branding are optimized for visibility and conversion.Handle escalations with marketplace support teams and resolve issues effectively.Sales & Marketing
Create and manage advertising strategies (Amazon PPC, eBay Promoted Listings, etc.) to drive sales and ROI.Collaborate with the marketing team for seasonal campaigns, deals, and launches.Analyze competitor activity and marketplace trends to maintain competitive advantage.Inventory & Logistics Coordination
Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure sufficient stock availability across all marketplaces.Manage FBA / Fulfillment operations, shipment plans, and return processes.Coordinate with warehouse teams for product readiness and on-time dispatch.Reporting & Analysis
Deliver regular performance reports to management with insights and recommendations.Monitor profitability, advertising costs, and operational efficiency.Use data-driven analysis to improve decision-making and optimize growth strategies.Requirements :
Minimum 3+ years of marketplace experience (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.), including leadership experience.Strong understanding of FBA / WFS, dropshipping, and direct fulfillment models.Hands-on experience with tools like Helium10, JungleScout, Seller Central, etc.Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver measurable results.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing multi-country marketplace accounts (e.G., AU, US, UK).Strong knowledge of digital marketing and pricing strategy for Marketplace.Experience in brand management or private label products.What We Offer :
