HR Data Analyst (Power BI)

Job descriptionCollaborate with human resources team members and business partners to understand and identify business needs, make recommendations, and deliver data. Collect, compile and join datasets from multiple sources and human resources information systems(including Applicant Tracking, Learning and Performance Management systems) Develop standard and ad hoc reports. Collaborate to ensure reports are accurate, timely and high quality. Analyze data to discover information, business value, patterns and trends to help guide business decisions. Produce reports and visualizations to communicate results and interpretations of trends; effectively communicate findings and provide recommendations to all levels of leadership. Work effectively with IT teams on data integrations from multiple HR systems and the data warehouse Proactively manage requests and client expectations. Resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate issueswhen needed. All other duties as assigned. 2-3 years professional experience and Bachelor s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, Analytics or related field from an accredited program required. Demonstrate exceptional judgement and discretion when dealing with highly confidential people andorganizational data. Excellent verbal / written communication, including the ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience. Experience building data visualizations that effectively communicate information. Experience building secure data models for role-based access control. Experience using Power BI (DAX & Power Query) to collect, transform, model, visualize and share data. Experience with writing Microsoft SQL queries preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Excel Ability to select and join disparate, complex data sets. Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform preferred.
