MBA or Bachelors with relevant experience in Electronics devices procurement
Experience Required :
6-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing / procurement of various Electronic Devices, IT hardware, software including strategic supplier selection, contracting, software strategy planning and costing, ODM / OEM shortlisting.
Drive big RFPs with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with suppliers to optimize the total cost of ownership
Evaluate BOM, negotiate with key BOM suppliers and optimize it further
Drive localization for various E-BOM, P-BOM and M-BOM components
Introduce, develop, and continuously improve best-in-class sourcing techniques, strategies, incentives and practices with a focus on risk management and project savings
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage the vendor due-diligence process for new vendors
Ensure 100% compliance on regulatory requirements / certifications, applicable on products
Work with internal and external resources to stay informed on potential policy changes impacting current and future procurement strategies
Manage and efficiently communicate risk of long-term supply contracts (e.g., credit exposure, commodities, technology, performance, etc.)
Develop leading metrics and indices to manage supply / demand including commodity pricing, interest rates, exchange rates, manufacturing capacity and other market signals
Benchmark the best practices while proposing any sourcing decisions
Develop and manage a technology and cost database for equipment including long-term technology and cost forecasts
Maintain a database of current technical and non-technical documentation for each suppliers and products (e.g., financials, warranties, Hardware AMCs, Roadmaps etc.)
Manage template supply agreements to streamline the procurement process, ensure consistency and apply lessons learned
Cultivate deep-rooted relationships with supplier organizations and identify strategic opportunities with prospect of additional business development.
