Qualys - Senior Security Engineer

Job Description :

As a Cloud Security QA Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team responsible for researching, developing, and delivering compliance signatures for Cloud security products.

In this role, you will be crucial in conducting extensive research in cloud security, focusing on understanding cloud technologies and testing / automating security best practices.

You will work on numerous Cloud platforms, Cloud Services, SAAS applications, and security standards like CIS, CSA-CCM, NIST, DISA, and PCI-DSS and help customers assess configurations and compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plans for functionality and system testing.
• Communicate test results to identify risks and dependencies and escalate the same promptly.
• Automate test cases with an established automated framework.
• Execute automation suite in QA and Production environments and publish the results.
• Seek continuous improvement in existing automation establishments.
• Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for automated feature lists.
• Along with automation, create expertise in assigned platform components, products or feature areas.
• Track updates pushed by cloud service providers on respective supported cloud platforms / services
• Keep updated with industry standards and features set for systems and platform compliance.
