Job Summary :

The CEO – Human Resources is responsible for leading the overall people strategy of the organization. This role ensures the development of a high-performing, engaged, and values-driven workforce aligned with the business goals. The CEO will oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, organizational culture, HR compliance, and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities :

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources strategy aligned with company vision and business objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.

2. Talent Management

  • Oversee recruitment and selection of leadership and critical roles.
  • Ensure a strong talent pipeline through succession planning and internal development.
  • Lead onboarding programs and ensure employee readiness from day one.
  • 3. Performance & Culture

  • Implement performance management systems that reward merit and encourage accountability.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and workplace satisfaction.
  • 4. Learning & Development

  • Establish training and development frameworks that address skill gaps and build future leaders.
  • Encourage functional, technical, and leadership development at all levels of the organization.
  • 5. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Regularly update HR policies, handbooks, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
  • 6. Compensation & Benefits

  • Design competitive compensation and incentive structures to attract and retain top talent.
  • Benchmark benefits against industry standards and manage payroll efficiently.
  • 7. Organizational Development

  • Drive organizational change, restructuring, and development initiatives as per business needs.
  • Align HR strategies with business transformation and digital initiatives.
  • 8. HR Technology & Systems

  • Leverage HRMS and digital tools to automate HR operations and improve employee experience.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • 9. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor HR teams across recruitment, L&D, payroll, industrial relations, and employee engagement.
  • Build HR capabilities across units to support rapid organizational growth.
  • Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strategic thinking with strong operational HR experience.
  • Expertise in organizational design, talent strategy, and culture building.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
  • High emotional intelligence and leadership maturity.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education : MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Experience : Minimum 15+ years in HR leadership roles, including 5+ years as a CXO / CHRO or HR Head. Experience in the garment / textile / manufacturing industry is a plus.
