About the Role
We are looking for experienced Senior Seller Consultant who would be responsible for supporting the acquisition and onboarding of prospective sellers, managing the seller lifecycle, promoting key product adoption, and guide sellers to accelerate their sales on Walmart.
About the Team
The Walmart India Cross Border team provides an opportunity for Indian brands, manufacturers, MSMEs and other potential sellers sell their products across global Walmart online marketplaces helping them expand their business internationally as cross-border sellers on Walmart Marketplace (Cross Border Trade), where they could reach a growing market of more than 120 million U.S. consumers each month. This is part of Walmart’s efforts to expand its sourcing from India to $10 billion a year by 2027
What you’ll do
- Develop a category scalable recruitment strategy by analyzing the competitive landscape and defining sellers’ business portfolio;
- Explore channels to identify and recruit sellers based on overall acquisition strategic business plan to execute on aggressive growth plans;
- Support sellers’ launch and sales growth on Walmart with consulting advice;
- Track, analyze, and report on personal and team KPIs and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement;
- working with various stakeholders and teams across the Walmart organization understand their needs and deliver short-term & long-term business goals;
- Improve sellers onboarding experience and team effectiveness by leading key programs and initiatives planning and executing The role holder is required to establish & maintain positive relationship with local cross border e commerce eco-system for in-depth industrial category cluster insight collection and drive new Sellers acquisition.
What you’ll bring
MBA or MBA equivalent post-graduate degree1+ years of Business development or account management experience in recruiting and managing clients.1+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce industry.Experience in independently analyzing & solving problemsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with and influence large strategic sellers and brandsAbility to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment and work with cross functional teamsAbility to initiate, lead and manage projects outside of primary responsibilityExperience in cross-border e-commerce landscapeB2B experience with manufacturers and suppliers and in-depth knowledge of India’s manufacture status is a plus.Strong willingness to learn new things preferred.Strong ability to work independently and think critically and logically.Experience influencing and organizing others, whether in a direct management capacity or through experience managing projects.Strong in data analysisThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
