Care Worker (Night Shift) - Gwelup

We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Gwelup Aged Care Home. Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Gwelup is home to 112 beds across two floors, including a dementia specific wing, and has been designed and built to maximise our residents’ enjoyment and wellbeing.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.

These roles are offered on a permanent part time basis working a minimum of 2-3 night shifts (11pm - 7am or 7.15am) per week.

Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

About You

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
• Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well as a team and also independently
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
