Role Overview :
A Client Acquisition and Business Development Specialist in the staffing industry is
responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with
companies that require staffing solutions. This role focuses on expanding the client base
and driving revenue growth by matching client workforce needs with the staffing
agency's services.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold
outreach
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets andindustries
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospectingAttend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leadsClient Acquisition
Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client staffing needsPresent tailored staffing solutions to prospective clientsNegotiate contracts and service agreementsOvercome objections and close new business deals.Relationship Management :
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makersServe as the primary point of contact during the onboarding processCollaborate with recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are metConduct regular business reviews with clients to identify additional opportunitiesMarket Intelligence
Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitoractivities
Provide feedback to leadership about market demands and service opportunitiesDevelop expertise in specific industry verticals to become a trusted advisor.Required Skills and Qualifications :
Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in staffing or HR servicesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsStrong ability to build rapport and establish credibility quicklySelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems and CRM softwareUnderstanding of employment laws and staffing industry regulationsBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, HR or related field (preferred).Performance Metrics :
