Onsurity - Node.js Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our backend development team.

As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and / or GraphQL endpoints.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Work with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best :
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (and TypeScript is a plus).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Express.js, Koa.js, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with databases (SQL and / or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
