Senior Engagement Manager

Purpose : The multi-disciplinary Clean Air team at CEEW generates data and evidence to drive scalable action and strengthen the capacity of governments and industries through institutional collaborations towards improving India's air quality. The CA team works across seven different verticals : crop residue management, clean cooking, solid waste management, industrial pollution management, clean construction, air quality governance, and air quality data analytics & forecasting.

The CA team seeks to hire a driven and passionate Senior Engagement Lead to build and expand our work on air quality governance and data analytics at the national, state, and city levels. This role involves a mix of managerial, technical and networking skills . The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of India's air quality policies, data trends, and key players, as well as experience to drive government engagements independently and can draft briefing notes and prepare presentations under tight deadlines.

Strategy

• Support the team leadership in the development of a strategy and plan for the Clean Air programme at CEEW that aligns with institutional and national / state government priorities
• Independently generate / pursue leads at state and city government to expand use of CEEW tools and methods related to air quality forecasting and management, engage with current and potential stakeholders for partnerships
