Automation Engineer

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer with 5-8 years of expertise in software testing using Python / Advanced Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in web application and REST API testing. This role requires working in an Agile and DevOps environment, ensuring high-quality deliverables with a “First Time Right” approach

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Experience : 5-8 years of experience in Automation testing with Python / Advanced Python.
• Testing Expertise : Proficiency in web application and REST API testing.
• Tools and Systems : Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, Linux, Embedded Systems and KVM.
• BDD Knowledge : Understanding of the Behavioral Driven Development approach.
• Documentation : Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation.
• Coding Standards : Familiarity with PEP8 standards and solid design principles of OOP.
• Certifications : ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
• Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong interest in Software Quality Assurance.
