Product Designer

• About edumerge edumerge is building the digital operating backbone for schools and colleges — unifying ERP, automation, communication, and AI-first productivity into a single platform.

We’re profitable, growing at 60% YoY, and on a mission to reach ₹100 Cr ARR by Dec 2028 and IPO by 2030. We serve 200+ institutions and are expanding across India and the Middle East.

Now, we’re rebuilding our product experience from the ground up — and we need a design lead to help us architect it.

This is a horizontal leadership role — not a UI-only or ticket-based execution seat.

You'll work directly with the CEO (Rajat) and Product Manager (Likith) to :

Design core journeys (onboarding, fee, performance, payroll, AI features)

Create and maintain design systems

Shape how offerings are presented inside the product and on the website

Collaborate with our in-house Product Marketer to ensure consistent UX and GTM messaging

Document tokens, typography, spacing, states, patterns

Create wireframes, flows, interaction specs for dev-ready handoff

Improve usability across modules — especially as engineers take full-stack ownership

Balance usability with narrative — help features sell themselves

Contribute to demo flows, LP visuals, customer storytelling

Product Manager (Likith) – Feature planning, priorities, developer handoff

Marketer – GTM visuals, LP experience, SEO pages

Engineers – Handoff and component reuse (Vercel stack)

You’ve built or maintained design systems

You can think in flows and systems , not just screens

You’ve worked closely with founders / product teams

You’re opinionated, fast-moving, and want to own UX across the board

Built products for non-tech users (admins, educators, etc.)

Can write clean microcopy / UX text

Worked in startups or 0→1 teams

UX across modules feels coherent, guided, intelligent

Engineers build 2x faster with reusable design primitives

New features feel positioned , not just functional

Parents, teachers, and EBs get it at first glance
