Job Title : Senior QA Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with deep expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, and CI / CD integrations . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) , Rest Assured (Java-based) , and modern QA practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for UI testing (Playwright, Selenium) and API testing (Rest Assured and related tools).
• Create and execute automated test suites for RESTful APIs , validating request / response payloads, headers, status codes, and data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather requirements, define test scenarios, and deliver high-quality test coverage.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for both automated and manual testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis , and log / report bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Generate and present test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards to stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks, QA best practices, and processes to improve overall efficiency.
