Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate & work closely with PD, Tech pack, sourcing sampling teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
• Assist in establishing best in class design process across different product category
• Should have a good technical skill in garment construction.
• Understand the technical guidelines form various departments while design & sampling process of garment
• To Create / visualize an idea and producing a design by hand sketch or using computer-based software.
• Working with others in the design team, such as Graphic Designers, Textile designers, Pattern makers to meet deadlines.
• To keep up to date with emerging and upcoming fashion trends, competition as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours, customer preference etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum experience of 3-5 years in design of menswear (casual category)

2. A fashion graduate / postgraduate from NIFT is mandatory
