Job Title : Culinary Team Member
As a Culinary Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities include :
- Preparing menu items as requested by supervisors, maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards.
- Developing advanced knife handling skills through continuous practice and training.
- Flexibility to work in any kitchen section, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of culinary terms and concepts, applied effectively in daily tasks.
- Accurate preparation and execution of company recipes, adhering to guidelines and standards.
- Efficient task management, prioritizing duties to meet deadlines and achieve high productivity levels.
- Strict adherence to Public Health regulations within the section, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Maintenance of assigned areas to ensure readiness for inspections at all times.
- Reporting for duty on schedule and following supervisor instructions promptly.
Financial Responsibilities :
Responsible for cost containment through efficient use and maintenance of records and supplies.Qualifications and Education :
Minimum 4 years experience in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships, with at least 2 years as a Culinary Team Member.Culinary school degree is required.Proven ability to manage teams in multicultural environments.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of quality service standards and guest satisfaction techniques.Effective planning and organization skills.Intermediate computer software skills are required.Good understanding of basic accounting principles.Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
