The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and campaign plans for local and international trade exhibitions and conferences. Using traditional and innovative marketing techniques, the Marketing Manager will support the drive to attract sponsors, exhibitors, delegates, visitors, and media.
The Job :
- Create and implement effective marketing campaigns for B2B exhibitions and conferences
- Develop, analyze, and optimize all marketing channels (email, social, digital, etc.) to drive attendance and revenue in line with event objectives.
- Devise a variety of lead generation activities to continually increase the event database
- Support the sales team in the creation of targeted messaging, collateral, and campaigns to enhance prospecting and drive exhibitor / sponsor conversion
- Work closely with Event Director to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with supporting teams such as Digital, Data, and Design to develop innovative and optimized campaigns while adhering to best practices and policies.
- Negotiate and execute contra deals with relevant associations and publications – focusing on building long-term partnerships.
- Manage key supplier relationships, including registration suppliers and agencies.
- Compile and analyze campaigns along with post-event analysis and other reports as required.
- Responsible for managing all marketing-related activities onsite (Registration, photography, social media, branding etc).
