Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental cuisine, including starters, main courses, and desserts.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Commi or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible approach to work.
