About the Role :
We're looking for a Senior Manager – Influencer Marketing to lead our Planning Vertical , which focuses on influencer scouting and campaign planning. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the influencer ecosystem, a sharp eye for talent, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team that identifies, curates, and aligns the right creators with brand objectives.
This role is both strategic and operational — driving influencer sourcing frameworks, ensuring quality and relevance, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class influencer marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead and manage the Planning (Influencer Scouting) team , ensuring efficient and high-quality output.
- Train and mentor team members on scouting processes, influencer evaluation, and campaign planning.
- Create performance metrics and evaluation systems for the scouting team.
- Build scalable processes to manage large volumes of influencer data and collaborations.
2. Influencer Scouting & Shortlisting :
Oversee the end-to-end influencer scouting process — from understanding briefs to shortlisting the right creators based on campaign objectives, audience demographics, and brand tonality.Develop data-driven frameworks for evaluating influencers (reach, engagement, audience quality, authenticity, and relevance).Ensure strong database management and categorization across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.).Maintain an updated network of influencers across categories (fashion, lifestyle, tech, food, fitness, etc.).3. Campaign Planning & Strategy Collaboration :
Partner closely with the Strategy and Client Servicing teams to interpret brand briefs and translate them into actionable influencer plans.Contribute to strategic brainstorming for campaign direction, creative ideas, and influencer mix.Work closely with the Pricing and Operations teams to align influencer selections with budgets, deliverables, and timelines.4. Process Optimization & Innovation :
Standardize scouting templates, evaluation scorecards, and briefing formats.Implement automation tools or tech solutions to streamline influencer search and analytics.Continuously update internal benchmarks and market trends to keep the scouting vertical ahead of industry standards.Ensure data accuracy, hygiene, and consistency across internal influencer management systems.5. Cross-functional Collaboration :
Act as the primary bridge between strategy, pricing, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.Collaborate with internal teams to develop insights and reports on influencer performance and campaign effectiveness.Provide inputs on creator partnerships, emerging platforms, and influencer trends to inform future strategies.Requirements :
Experience : 5–8 years in influencer marketing, preferably in a planning or talent scouting leadership role.Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem, social media trends, and content formats across major platforms.Team Leadership : Proven experience managing and scaling a scouting / planning team.Analytical Skills : Strong data-driven mindset; ability to evaluate creators based on quantitative and qualitative metrics.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and defend influencer choices effectively.Tools : Proficiency with influencer analytics and scouting tools (e.g., Qoruz, Winkl, CreatorIQ, etc.) and Excel / Google Sheets.Skills Required
