Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Robotics Engineer located in South Delhi. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing robotic systems and applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing automation processes, conducting detailed analysis and troubleshooting, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals. The engineer will also be involved in software development related to robotics and must maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

1. Mechanical Design & Prototyping :

• Design robotic components, structures, and assemblies using CAD tools (SolidWorks).
• Develop and test prototypes to ensure stability, functionality, and performance.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and GD&T standards.
• Utilize knowledge of subtractive, additive, moulding, and forming manufacturing processes.

Key Skills : a) Basic Skills :

1.      Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D design, drafting, FEA, CFD).

2.      Knowledge of programming languages : C++, Python, MATLAB for modeling and control simulation.

3.      Understanding of embedded systems, micro-controllers, and sensors used in robotics.

4.      Strong foundation in mechanics, calculus, linear algebra, and physics.

b) Advanced Skills :

1.      Experience with ANSYS or other advanced simulation tools.

2.      Expertise in material selection, manufacturing processes, and fluid mechanics.

3.      Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

4.      Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

5.      Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning in evolving robotics technologies.
