Job Overview :
We are planning an in-house Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) platform for battery manufacturing and industrial automation.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complete robot subsystems —from chassis to ROS2 navigation stack—resulting in a fully functional AMR product ready for industrial deployment and commercial sale.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop robot base (chassis + electronics + software stack)
- Implement navigation and localization using ROS 2 + SLAM Toolbox / Nav2
- Integrate sensors (LiDAR, Depth Camera, IMU, Encoders) for real-time perception
- Write firmware for STM32 / Teensy controllers for motor control and odometry
- Develop URDF / Xacro models and simulate in Gazebo / Isaac Sim
- Implement communication between ROS PC and MCU over Serial / CAN bridge
- Perform testing and validation in lab and factory environment
- Document the entire stack (firmware + hardware + software) for production handover
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 2–4 years experience in robotics / autonomous systemsStrong knowledge of C++ and Python for ROS 2 developmentExperience with slam_toolbox, Nav2, robot_state_publisher, ros2_controlFamiliar with Gazebo / Isaac Sim for simulation testingExperience with STM32 firmware development (C / C++)Understanding of mechanical design using SolidWorks / NX / AnsysSensor integration experience (LiDAR, Depth Camera, IMU, Encoders)Power electronics basics (battery BMS, drivers, motor controllers)Strong debugging skills in hardware + software interfacesPreferred Skills :
Nvidia Jetson / Intel NUC deploymentDocker & CI / CD for ROS projectsMachine Vision (OpenCV, Realsense SDK, OAK-D)Knowledge of Ethernet / IP, RS-485, CAN protocolsExperience with fleet management / multi-robot systemsEducation :
