AI / ML Engineer with Snowflake Cortex

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI / ML Engineer to design and implement a solution leveraging  Snowflake Cortex  capabilities. The role involves building intelligent workflows that guide oncology treatment decisions, integrate structured and unstructured data, and deliver actionable insights to clinicians and researchers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven oncology navigation workflows using  Snowflake Cortex  (Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Snowpark ML).
• Implement  semantic search  and  LLM-based insights  for clinical guidelines, trial matching, and patient pathways.
• Build  recommendation engines  for treatment options and trial eligibility.
• Integrate external oncology data sources (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, EHR systems) into Snowflake.
• Design and deploy  ML models  for patient stratification, risk scoring, and outcome prediction.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security protocols.
• Integrate Cortex with  Streamlit, Teams or Web application .

Required Skills

• Snowflake Expertise :
• Hands-on experience with  Snowflake Cortex  (Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, Snowpark ML).
• Proficiency in  SQL ,  Snowpark Python , and UDF development.
• AI / ML Skills :
• Strong understanding of machine learning and NLP for healthcare.
• Experience with LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge :
• Familiarity with oncology workflows, clinical trials, and patient data.
• Data Integration :
• ETL pipeline development and integration of structured / unstructured data.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI / ML engineering or data science roles.
• Experience in healthcare or life sciences analytics.
