Oracle HCM Cloud Senior Techno-Functional Consultant
We are seeking a senior consultant with more than 8 years of experience in US and Canada Payroll to support our team.
- A strong balance of functional and technical skills is required.
- Implementation experience in Payroll elements set ups / configurations for US and Canada region necessary.
- Strong knowledge of payroll process / element setup for US and Canada region required.
- US and Canada Year End Knowledge (t4 / rl1 / w4) essential.
- North America Taxation experience beneficial.
- Ability to write fast formulas for payroll elements crucial.
- Good BIP and OTBI development skills needed.
- SDLC and JIRA knowledge necessary.
- HDL experience desirable.
- Prior experience in doing Payroll Balance Initializations and Balance Adjustments for US and Canada localizations advantageous.
- Payroll Slip Template customizations experience beneficial.
- Preparation of functional required documents a key responsibility.
- Gathering detailed functional requirements from the business and documenting these in functional specifications required.
- Regression testing of RICE components part of the role.
- Functional experience in US and Canada Payroll essential.
- Reviewing open cases / issues and troubleshooting for resolution necessary.
- Coordination with the team regarding tickets a requirement.
- Consulting on requested configuration changes, partnering with the team to determine best options for design decisions based on documented requirements, current configuration, and downstream impacts.
- Documentation of final specs and configuration of applications a key responsibility.
- Analyzing the impact of configurational changes to Payroll Fast Formulas necessary.
- Stakeholder meeting participation to resolve priority issues a requirement.
- Data integrity and governance through supporting large / complex data imports and extracts and validating accuracy through reporting and queries a critical function.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of integrations / file transfers necessary.
- Providing analysis and consultation on implementing new software application products or new modules or any new requirement in existing applications a key responsibility.
- Experienced support for integrations, reports, and large data imports / extractions required.
- Planning for and supporting migrations, releases, upgrades, and / or patches - mitigating risk / downstream impacts a key function.
- Developing knowledge and expertise in extensions and Fast Formulas beneficial.
- Engagement with Digital and vendor for support as necessary.
A Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant fields is essential. Good knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules and Payroll area is also required.
