Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Laravel / PHP Developer with a strong foundation in backend development, MySQL, and e-commerce systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable applications, integrating data pipelines, and driving feature delivery in a collaborative Agile team setup.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Develop secure and scalable backend applications using Laravel (PHP)Design, optimize, and manage MySQL schemas and performance tuningBuild and maintain ETL / ESB pipelines for data synchronization across systemsWork with Laravel queues, events, jobs, and schedulerDevelop REST APIs and manage third-party integrations (shipping, CRM, payments)Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams : developers, testers, product ownersImplement and follow best practices in code quality, testing, and CI / CDTechnical Skills :
5+ years of PHP development experience (3+ years in Laravel)Strong experience with MySQL (joins, indexes, stored procedures, tuning)ETL / ESB knowledge using Laravel Jobs, Talend, or Apache NiFiSkilled in REST API design, integration, and OAuth / WebhooksEcommerce Domain KnowledgeHands-on experience with major ecommerce platformsStrong understanding of ecommerce business processes including :Product catalogs, variants, and SKU managementOrder lifecycle management (cart, checkout, order placement, payment, fulfilment, return / refund)Inventory management, stock sync, and warehouse integrationShipping and logistics API integrationsERP and CRM system integration for unified data flowKnowledge of ecommerce KPIs and data reporting (RFM, CLTV, conversion rate)Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :
Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or any messaging systemExposure to Talend, Apache NiFi, or PentahoFamiliarity with DDD, clean / hexagonal architecture patternsBasic experience on cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP(ref : hirist.tech)
