Role Description
We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer with a passion for health and wellness to join our creative team. In this role, you will create compelling, accurate, and empathetic content for our healthcare clients. You will be responsible for researching and writing a wide range of materials, including blog posts, website copy, patient education materials, email newsletters, and social media content such as scripts for reels and long-form videos and captions. The ideal candidate is a skilled wordsmith who can translate complex medical topics into clear, accessible, and reassuring language that resonates with a patient audience and drives meaningful action.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and Writing : Research and write high-quality, evidence-based content on a variety of medical specialties, health conditions, treatments, and wellness topics.
- Content Creation : Develop a range of content formats, including long-form blog articles, SEO-optimized website service pages, doctor biographies, patient testimonials, email campaigns, and scripts for social media content.
- SEO Integration : Incorporate SEO best practices into all written content, including natural keyword integration and writing effective meta titles and descriptions, to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Brand Voice and Tone : Adapt your writing style and tone to match the unique brand voice of each healthcare client, from a compassionate paediatric clinic to a cutting-edge surgical centre.
- Editing and Proofreading : Meticulously proofread and edit content created by yourself and other team members to ensure it is free of errors and meets our high standards for accuracy, clarity, and quality.
- Collaboration : Work closely with SEO specialists, social media managers, graphic designers, and account managers to develop content that supports integrated marketing campaigns and client goals.
- Compliance and Accuracy : Ensure all content is factually accurate, thoroughly researched, and adheres to ethical marketing standards for the healthcare industry.
Qualifications and Skills
Required :
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Proficient in writing short-form and long-form video content scripts for doctors and healthcare professionals2-3+ years of professional experience in content writing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable command of the English language.Proven ability to research complex topics and distill them into simple, easy-to-understand language.A basic understanding of SEO principles and content marketing.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
