Job descriptionDevelop and execute a robust sales and distribution strategy for the mutual fund business to achieve sustainable growth. Set clear, measurable annual sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives in collaboration with senior management. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, innovative distribution channels, and effective product positioning approaches to enhance market penetration. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed targets. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals and customer needs. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies proactively. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders to maximize business opportunities. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mutual fund sales within the financial industry, specifically in mutual funds, broking, and distribution. Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving business targets in a competitive market environment. Deep understanding of mutual fund products, distribution dynamics, and regulatory landscape. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
