As400 Analyst

We are looking for AS400 ADMIN professionals, please find below JD : -

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration with o work management, o user management, journal management and performance management.
• Proven experience in IBM I, OS / 400,V7R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems.
• Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400.
• Demonstrable skills in iBMi o native job scheduler and o Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution.
• Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).
• Manage the Backups,Scheduling,Modification.
• Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR.
• Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues.
• Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H / W or upgrade activity.
• Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled.
• Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running.
• Server Up gradation in hardware / Software / OS coordinating with IBM
