Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing and optimizing social media channels, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with the marketing team to align campaigns, monitoring social media trends, responding to audience interactions, and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Strategy & Brand Building
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that positions Nvelop as a thought leader in AI-driven procurement.
- Build a strong, consistent brand voice across , X / Twitter, and other relevant channels.
- Plan a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, events (e.g. Slush), and industry trends.
Content Creation & Campaigns
Create scroll-stopping, educational carousels and posts on procurement best practices, AI use cases, and sourcing strategies.Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify product updates, customer stories, and blog content.Experiment with video snippets, short-form insights, and interactive posts to drive engagement.Community & Thought Leadership
Engage with procurement professionals, industry influencers, and potential customers in comment threads and discussions.Monitor relevant hashtags, groups, and conversations to surface industry insights.Support Nvelop executives in building their personal presence (ghostwriting posts, repurposing content).Analytics & Optimization
Track and report on key metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, click-through).Identify which content formats resonate most with procurement audiences and iterate based on performance data.A / B test carousel designs, posting times, and messaging to maximize impact.Qualifications
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in B2B SaaS, tech, or procurement.Excellent copywriting skills — able to make complex topics approachable and compelling.Familiarity with Canva (or similar tools) to produce polished, on-brand carousels and graphics.Deep understanding of as a primary channel for B2B engagement.Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (native analytics, Hootsuite, or similar).Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams.Nice-to-Haves
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS marketing.Knowledge of AI trends and ability to create educational content about their business impact.Experience running paid social campaigns targeting procurement and sourcing professionals.Video editing skills for short, insight-driven thought leadership clips.
