Specialist, HSE
- Support the development and implementation of HSE management system (including objectives, processes, and assurance) to meet requirements International Standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
- Ensuring employees are familiar with HSE Policy and the requirements of the Company's HSE Management Systems
- Conduct audits / inspections and monitors follow-through corrective actions
- Promoting a systematic approach to management of HSE activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.
- Ensure Risk Assessment and RA register is updated and reviewed annually.
- Conduct incident investigations, including Root Cause analysis.
- Support tender process with reference to supplier / sub-contractor HSE qualification, selection, and assessment.
- Familiarity with local legislative framework
- Maintain Environmental impact / aspect register
- Identify HSE training needs and conduct training programs.
- Coordinate with internal focus groups on Sustainability initiatives
- Lead crisis management exercises for office / sites in accordance with emergency response plan.
- Manages security protocols for office and travellers
- Flexibility to travel for site visits / inspections
Qualifications And Skills
Tertiary education in Engineering / Industrial Safety or related discipline with NEBOSH IGC7 years' experience in site and office HSE management (construction / oil & gas)Internal auditor qualification is preferred (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001)Strong written and oral communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational, analytical and decision-making skillsAbility to write and review procedural documents, present information clearly & conciselySelf-starter, Proactive attitude, Influencing skills with various stakeholdersR2113549
