Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales organization in Bengaluru. This leadership role involves designing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, driving account management, and leveraging sales data analytics to achieve business growth. The role also focuses on fostering strong client relationships, conducting market research, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Oversee account management activities to strengthen client relationships and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry developments and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to support sales initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing sales processes and performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to promote products and services.
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven track record in sales and sales management roles, preferably within the active ingredients or related industries.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating sales teams.Expertise in account management and customer relationship building.Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data and market intelligence for strategic decisions.Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Master's or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;Industry experience in active ingredients is highly desirable.(ref : iimjobs.com)
