Manage MCC functions in coordination with Operational Control Centre (OCC), monitor and manage complete flight operations across the network. MCC is the key link between flight operations and engineering to support daily flight operations.Responsible for coordinating with OCC, Ground Ops and Admin etc for coordinating aircraft maintenance with the aim of adhering the flight timing schedules and prompt aircraft turnaround times without delays.Responsible for maximising the operational availability of the aircraft through close monitoring and scheduling of all maintenance requirements and defect rectification.Key Responsibilities (KRA) :
Carry out the duties and responsibilities as under and also as may be specified by the Company from time to time.Responsible for managing the aircraft maintenance in coordination with the maintenance coordinators at stations for line maintenance activities with CAR 145 approved maintenance organizations.Drive daily aircraft operation production meeting and review the operational / maintenance status of fleet aircraft and initiate necessary action in association with various other departments to effectively manage the flight operation.Shall act as a single point contact for all the maintenance related activities for timely execution.Shall support the aircraft maintenance by coordinating Engineering Planning, Quality Control, Logistics and the CAR 145 maintenance team.Coordinate with all other departments like Head of Flight Safety, Head of Flight Operations and contracted maintenance organisations to assure high reliability of the aircraft fleet.Responsible that the maintenance work carried out on Quikjet Cargo Airlines Pvt Ltd fleet are documented and / or entered in the maintenance software system at all stations on real time basis.Provide technical support during defect rectification, and resolving repetitive defects.Liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for technical support during AOG recoveries and for defect rectifications.Work with engineering planning section and CAR 145 contracted maintenance organisation for scheduling the inspections and OOP's tasks.Monitor the deferred defects and MEL releases for timely rectification and MEL revoking.Monitor and analyse the defects, repetitive defects, unscheduled component removals, confirmed failures, Pilot reports, and other relevant reliability data and support the reliability section. Proactively contribute towards improving the fleet maintenance reliability. Prepare relevant reports.Monitor aircraft performance, ECTM etc on a regular basis.Advise flight safety during investigations.Participate in ARC reviews.Impart inhouse training to Company personnel including technical ground training to flying crews and Level 1 / Level 3 training to E & M Staff.Manage AOG recoveries in coordination with logistics, CAR 145 maintenance organisation and OCC.Work with Technical Services regularly.Coordinate with Technical Services and Aircraft Engine Manufacturer (TC / STC holder) to obtain solutions for critical maintenance issues / repetitive defects.Creation of maintenance call out and provide guidance to maintenance personnel at line stations for rectifying repetitive / critical defects.Ensure that all recorded defects are rectified in accordance with TSM / AMM.Organize regular team meetings of the contracted maintenance organisation personnel with Quikjet continuing airworthiness management personnel.Familiarize with OCC manual and procedures and proactively keep OCC always advised of the ground level realities in terms of aircraft readiness for on time departure.Coordinating with all line stations / contracted maintenance agencies for ensuring smooth operation across the network, including AOG recovery.Function as interface between Engineering Maintenance and Flight Operation Depts for various maintenance information which have bearing for flight operations.Reporting of occurrence / incident / accident during aircraft operations / associated processes to Quality Manager, HOFS and higher management.Facilitation of internal & external audit and ensure timely corrective action for any audit finding.Skills Required
