In this role, you will have the opportunity to : Install, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server databases; track and apply patches and CUs with minimal impact.Monitor performance using SSMS, Profiler, and AWS Compute Optimizer; configure alerts and resolve issues.Implement and document disaster recovery strategies; ensure regular testing and compliance.Ensure security compliance, support audits, and respond to SQL-related support tickets per SLA.Automate routine tasks and develop a strategic roadmap for SQL infrastructure improvements.The essential requirements of the job include : 5+ years of experience administering large number of Microsoft SQL Servers in enterprise environments.Proficiency with centralized management tools like SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Profiler, and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS Compute Optimizer)Experience with backup / recovery strategies, patch management, and performance tuningStrong understanding of database security, compliance, and audit readinessAWS certification or demonstrated knowledge of AWS services relevant to SQL Server hosting and monitoringSkills Required
