• Project Planning : Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints
• Design and Analysis : Develop civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for various projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure
• Structural Analysis : Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of designs
• Permitting : Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Material Selection : Select appropriate construction materials and methods, considering project requirements, cost-efficiency, and sustainability
• Environmental Impact : Assess and mitigate the environmental impact of projects, incorporating sustainable and eco-friendly design practices
• Drafting : Create detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and construction documentation using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
• Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of design plans
• Cost Estimation : Prepare cost estimates for project budgets, including materials, labor, and equipment
• Coordination : Collaborate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate civil designs into overall project plans
• Project Management : Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and timelines related to civil design tasks
