Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

Job Overview :

offshore wind energy business is rapidly growing and that is why we are looking for Steel Structural Engineers to join our Offshore structures team . Secondary steel and topside design play a crucial role in offshore wind topside foundations, ensuring safe access, structural integrity, and long-term durability.

Skills & Qualification :

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Marine Engineering or similar discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in design of steel structures and connections .
• A track record of applying your understanding of structural engineering principles, hand calculations / sketches, and fabrication / construction process to produce efficient designs inline with design standard requirements such as European, NORSOK, American, Indian or any other international standards.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of engineers to deliver work packages. Good communication skills in English with experience coordinating across disciplines and with stakeholders, both in person and remotely.
• Good knowledge in review of 3D CAD models in Tekla, Revit, Navisworks, or similar.
• Knowledge of advanced engineering concepts such as Fatigue, Dynamics, Non-Linear analyses etc. as well as experience in a software package such as e.g. Robot, STAAD-PRO, IDEA StatiCa, Abaqus or similar is advantageous
