We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems. Responsibilities :
Installation and Setup :
- Install and configure audiovisual equipment including displays projectors sound systems and video conferencing systems.
- Ensure proper cable management and integration of AV components.
Testing and Calibration :
Conduct testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to audio video or control systems.On-site Support :
Provide on-site support during events meetings and conferences to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment.Assist users with the setup and operation of AV systems.Maintenance :
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to identify and address potential issues.Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance activities.Documentation :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of AV system configurations installations and troubleshooting procedures.Create user guides and training materials for end-users.Collaboration :
Collaborate with AV engineers programmers and project managers to contribute to the successful execution of projects.Communicate effectively with clients and end-users to understand their AV requirements.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.Proven experience as an AV Technician or a related field.Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment cabling and signal flow.Familiarity with AV control systems and basic programming concepts.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills :
Industry certifications such as InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) are advantageous.Experience with video conferencing solutions (e.g. Zoom Microsoft Teams).Familiarity with various AV software and diagnostic tools.Benefits

Required Skills :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration HR or a related field. 2 years of experience in office administration or a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook). Familiarity with insurance coordination and asset management systems is a plus.
