We are looking to hire ambitious, and value-adding talent to join Modulr, the fastest growing payments business in the UK and Europe, youll help us develop our automation test suite for our API and Web applications while being involved in manual and automated testing.

The Role :

The Test Automation Developer is a vital role within Modulr and this role will ensure youll help us maintain the quality and performance of our platform as our transaction volume grows.

Our Automation team work collaberative within the business to automate and streamline processes, particularly within software development and testing.

Skills And Experience :

• Expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques within a fast-paced agile environment is essential.
• Practical coding with Java and / or another object-oriented language at least 6 years.
• API REST / SOAP automation testing, building maintainable and reusable backend automation frameworks from scratch.
• SQL scripting and database knowledge.
• Ability to achieve maximum test coverage with minimal number of tests based on backend processes and software architecture understanding.
• Capable applying best practices to automation test frameworks, so they can be flexible and easy to maintain across multiple environments.
• You will be experienced at creating and maintaining automation tests and contributing to automation framework in a collaborative environment.
• You will be knowledgeable about BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of UK and / or Euro payment schemes are ideal but not essential.
