POSITION : Restaurant General Manager
LOCATION : Galle District, Sri Lanka
SALARY : LKR 600,000 + Accommodation (Gross, Negotiable)
OVERVIEW :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of a premium restaurant within a renowned international hotel chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving exceptional guest experiences, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining profitability while upholding the brand’s high standards of service, quality, and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding hospitality and performance.
- Manage financial targets, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service standards, menu offerings, and customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and F&B management teams to ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Prepare periodic reports on operations, sales, and performance metrics for senior management.
PRE - REQUISITES :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Operations, or a related field.Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity within a reputed hotel or restaurant.Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.Proven ability to manage budgets, drive sales, and maintain profitability.Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on service excellence.Willing to be based in Galle District, Sri Lanka (accommodation provided).
