Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wealth Relationship Manager located in Chennai
The role involves client acquisition, financial planning, and portfolio management, with a focus on delivering customized, tax-efficient investment strategies. Candidates with professional certifications such as CFP, CWM or CFA will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Planning : Acquire new clients and generate fee income by creating tailored financial plans and managing portfolios aligned to client goals and risk profiles.
- Portfolio Analysis : Review client portfolios in terms of Internal Rate of Return (IRR), asset allocation mix, tax efficiency, and performance against benchmarks like Sensex, NIFTY, and blended indices.
- Asset Allocation Strategy : Analyze client information and design optimal asset allocation strategies suited to individual requirements.
- Ongoing Advisory : Monitor and review client plans regularly, updating them with market developments, new financial products, or regulatory changes impacting savings and investments.
- Cross-Selling & Relationship Management : Deepen client relationships by cross-selling mutual funds, fixed deposits, bonds, and other financial products in line with their evolving needs.
- Risk Profiling & Guidance : Help clients determine their risk appetite based on short- and long-term goals, age, family status, employment, and expenses.
- Comprehensive Reviews : Conduct in-depth assessments of client financial circumstances, current provisions, and future aspirations.
- Knowledge Application : Leverage strong analytical skills, fiscal knowledge, and customer-centric service to guide clients toward informed investment decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.Previous experience in Private Wealth Management or Financial Services preferred.Professional certifications such as CFP, CWM, or CFA will be considered a strong advantage.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive client information with discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
