Position Overview :
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for
planning, preparing, and distributing daily news updates and weekly summary emails to CIMdata’s global PLM community . This role ensures that industry professionals receive timely, high-quality information on PLM, digital transformation, and related domains. The specialist will manage digital communication workflows, optimize content for engagement, and support CIMdata’s brand presence across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Preparation & Distribution
Compile and format daily industry news items from CIMdata’s research, solution provider announcements, and trusted sources
Develop weekly summary emails highlighting key trends, commentaries, and event updates
Maintain editorial consistency, clarity, and professional tone in all communications
Collaborate with research and consulting teams to feature priority content
Email Marketing & Campaign Management
Manage email lists, segment audiences, and ensure compliance with email marketing best practices
Schedule and send daily and weekly communications using CIMdata’s marketing automation / email platform
Monitor delivery rates, open rates, and click-through metrics; recommend improvements
Using CIMdata CRM, manage relevant CIMdata’s daily and weekly email distribution lists, along with key PLM solution provider news contacts
Community Engagement & Branding
Ensure email communications reflect CIMdata’s brand guidelines and support thought leadership positioning
Identify opportunities to cross-promote CIMdata events, webinars, publications, and Knowledge Councils
Gather feedback from subscribers to refine communication effectiveness
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze performance of daily and weekly campaigns
Provide regular reports to management on key metrics and trends
Suggest adjustments to content, timing, or format based on audience engagement data
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Communications, Business , or related field
Experience : 2- to 4 -years of
digital marketing
or
email marketing
experience; familiarity with
B2B
marketing preferred
Experience in
content preparation
and distribution, preferably within technology, consulting, or research-driven organizations
Skills : Proficiency with
email marketing platforms
(e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar)
Strong written and editorial skills with ability to simplify complex topics
Basic understanding of
HTML
for email formatting is a plus
Knowledge of
analytics tools
(Google Analytics, email campaign dashboards)
Attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage daily deadlines
