Job descriptionWork closely with design and production teams for sampling & prototyping Track sample development and communicate feedback for revisions Maintain accurate sample records and approvals Oversee production timelines and ensure timely deliveries Coordinate with vendors for order execution, quality checks, and dispatches Troubleshoot delays or issues proactively Maintain detailed trackers in Excel / Google Sheets (including advanced formulas) Generate reports on vendor performance, costing, order status, etc. Analyze data for cost savings and process improvements Act as the point of contact between internal teams (design, QC, logistics) and vendors Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats Schedule and document meetings, calls, and follow-ups effectively Willingness to travel for vendor visits, production checks, trade shows, etc. Stay updated with industry trends and materials Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field 1-5 years of experience in merchandising Proven experience in vendor handling, production follow-ups, and sampling Strong command over MS Excel and Google Sheets (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Excellent negotiation and communication skills Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable Comfortable with frequent travel Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (mandatory)

Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser with strong communication and negotiation skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the fashion & lifestyle industry. Hands-on experience in coordinating with multiple vendors, production follow-ups, and product development. Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets is essential. The role demands adaptability, a learning mindset, and a willingness to travel as required.
