About this role

An Associate is a key contributor to the achievement of our team's goals. You will take on significant responsibility as part of the transaction team, including transaction leadership. You'll have a clear understanding of a wide range of consulting services and corporate finance processes, issues and project management. You'll also be key in generating ideas for business development and executing these together with senior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities and Challenges :

• To lead the point contact for day-to-day execution on transaction advisory mandates across a variety of segments within the knowledge economy
• To design, build, and manage discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout and merger consequences models for live and contemplated M&A transactions
• To lead on the preparation of effective pitch books contributing to the marketing efforts of the firm
• To mentor and train Analyst level bankers, while driving excellence through best practice
• To maintain client relations during the deal execution period and building industry-specific expertise
• To have regular contact with other internal teams within Equiteq to ensure smooth communication across groups and sharing of best practices
• To conduct research and analysis on Equiteq's clients and prospects as well as industry sub-sectors and contribute ideas for those clients and prospects
