What You’ll Do
WSP’s Project Delivery team is central to delivering excellence across our Power & Energy portfolio—including Renewables, Transmission & Distribution, and Generation & New Energy projects. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the planning and execution of complex energy projects, ensuring consistent delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about elevating project management as a core technical discipline. Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading project delivery across development and construction phases of utility-scale energy projects
- Leading and supporting proposal development and bid leadership for strategic opportunities
- Managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality using WSP’s systems and processes
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to meet project objectives
- Overseeing financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, and variation management
- Ensuring compliance with QA processes and contract requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients on commercial and delivery matters
- Driving continuous improvement, standardisation, and reporting across projects
- Mentoring junior PMs and contributing to the growth of project management capability within the business
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience managing projects in the Power & Energy sectorA deep understanding of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-outProficiency in managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality using structured project management methodologies and toolsFamiliarity with contracts, technical schedules, and variation / change management processesStrong skills in financial tracking, forecasting, invoicing, and contract administrationProven ability to lead complex bids, including pricing strategy, resource planning, and proposal coordinationExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable languageExperience working within a professional services consulting environment, coordinating across disciplines and regions is highly desirable.Our Offer
