About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of electrical products, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and compliance with technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of electrical materials.

Responsibilities :

Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical items such as cables, switchgears, and panels.

Issue RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate best pricing, delivery schedules, and credit terms.

Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.

Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.

Coordinate with project and logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving delays or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate procurement records including quotations, POs, payments, and approvals.

Ensure purchases are within budget and in compliance with company procurement guidelines.

Qualifications :

Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.

1-3 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading environment.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and professional email communication.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in the electrical trading sector.
