Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Tech Product Owner- Agentic AI

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Assistant Vice President - Tech Product Owner to join our cutting-edge Agentic AI team at Genpact. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering intelligent, autonomous agent-based AI products that can drive transformation at scale for global enterprises.

As a Tech Product Owner, you will play a central role in defining the product vision, driving the product roadmap, and aligning AI product capabilities with real-world business outcomes. You will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, AI research teams, engineering, and clients, ensuring that the products developed deliver strategic value.

Responsibilities :

Product Strategy & Ownership

Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Agentic AI products.

Translate market trends and business needs into a forward-looking product strategy.

Lead backlog prioritization in collaboration with engineering, UX, and business teams.

Manage full product lifecycle - from concept to delivery and continuous evolution.

Stakeholder Management & Strategic Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including C-level executives, clients, and partners.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients on leveraging Agentic AI for solving complex business problems.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between AI researchers, engineers, designers, and business leaders.

Champion product alignment with Genpact's broader digital transformation initiatives.

Technological Solutions & Innovation

Collaborate with AI / ML teams to ensure technical feasibility and integration of cutting-edge agentic technologies.

Evaluate and make decisions on technical capabilities, architecture, and platforms for the product.

Maintain a deep understanding of emerging AI / ML trends (especially in autonomous agents, LLMs, cognitive automation).

Product Development & Execution

Drive agile product development processes, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Monitor performance, gather feedback, and iterate to enhance product effectiveness.

Manage vendor relationships, platform partnerships, and technical resources.

Negotiation & Influence

Lead high-impact negotiations internally and externally with clarity and precision.

Influence strategic decisions through compelling product narratives backed by data and vision.

Secure executive buy-in and customer commitment for product launches and scaling efforts.Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications : -

Relevant years of experience in Product Management / Product Ownership roles, and in a leadership capacity.

Proven experience in building and scaling enterprise tech products, preferably in AI, automation, or data-driven environments.

Strong track record of driving business outcomes through technology product innovation.

Deep understanding of AI / ML technologies, especially Agentic AI, LLMs, and autonomous systems.

Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor%27s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field.

MBA or equivalent business qualification strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in or with digital consulting firms, SaaS product companies, or innovation labs.

Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, product discovery frameworks, and design thinking.

Knowledge of compliance, data governance, and ethical AI considerations.
